Job Title: India Development Internship
Job Specification: The focus of the internship is on social and international development and provides the student with a unique opportunity to study alongside students from around the world and development professionals whilst gaining hands on experience within India's civil society. During your first month your will do an intensive International Development course at a centre in Goa. In your second and third months you will be placed in a local or national non-governmental organisation in Jaipur to begin your internship. Within the next two months you will learn the workings of a development organisation coupled with on the ground practical experience in the villages of Rajasthan. Unpaid internships in development organisations are tailored to suit your skills, experience and interest and are available in a number of fields including:

• Public Health
• Research and analysis
• Orphanage Work
• Women's Empowerment
• Primary Education
• Pre-School Education
• Special Needs Education
