At the moment we are looking for an Assistant Chief Engineer to join our friendly and professional engineering team at InterContinental Sydney. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you'll assist in managing our building services and preventative maintenance work program for our 509 heritage listed luxury hotel. This includes energy management, implementing our life safety/fire prevention program and leading a team of 11 to allow them to reach their full potential.
Essential Skills: You'll have qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering and solid experience in facilities management. You have a proven track record in leading a large and successful team and strong project management skills. A team player, you're known for your innovative approach and your ability to solve complex problems. Ultimately, you have the desire to progress your career into a Chief Engineer role with IHG.
