Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering is a leading, independent provider of biomedical services (including medical equipment repair, maintenance, testing and calibration) to an extensive client portfolio of government and private health facilities throughout Australia and New Zealand.

A graduate service engineer position based in Wollongong has become available. This is an entry-level position for a new graduate from TAFE or University, and tailored learning modules and on-the-job training will be provided. The successful applicant will undertake technical, product and client support activities, and will acquire the necessary skills to define, diagnose and rectify equipment faults and carry out scheduled maintenance services.

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Engineering or trade qualifications in an electronics discipline;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • High level computer literacy;
  • Strong and proven hands-on fault finding skills;
  • A current non-restricted drivers licence;
  • An understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements;
  • An appropriate Australian or New Zealand work visa or Australian residency.
Biomedical experience/qualifications will be highly regarded.

As part of our team, you will work closely with Chemtronics engineers and support staff to develop your skills and expertise in the field of biomedical engineering.

The successful applicant will approach his/her work in an organised and proactive manner, with a thirst to learn and a desire to apply new skills.
