This organisation is a local player in the exciting and innovative world of
Multimedia. As one of the industries fastest growing areas of technology and, as the industry advances in

As a result of this growth, they currently seek an experienced Senior Assistant Accountant
to join their small accounts team. This position will start with all statutory accounting responsibility but then be
groomed to take on some of the Financial Controller's work in due course. So the perfect position for someone
with a wealth of experience looking for a smaller company opportunity to utilise their current skill set in a diverse
role; or the progressive types who seek the opportunity of a lifetime to be closely trained up into a very senior
role for the future.
To be successful in your application you must be able to demonstrate a history of
achievement and the following responsibilities over a minimum of 5 years: - Month end close
-
Reconciliations of bank and ledger
- General ledger maintenance and reconciliations
- Journal
Entries
- Maintain fixed assets register
- Assist in the production of P&L and Balance Sheet
- Month end reporting
- Assist with BAS, GST, FBT
- Trial Balance
