Job Title: Disability Social Group Assistant
Job Specification: As part of their Aged & Disability Services, Centacare hosts a social group for people with a disability. The group was initiated as part of Centacare's Flexible Options Program for people with a disability who may feel socially isolated and are looking for wider networks of friends. It is a great opportunity for the participants to experience social interaction with each other and they have a great time while they are doing it. The group meets every Wednesday night and regular activities include dinner and dancing, lawn bowls, picnics, barbeques, beauty nights, movie nights and ten pin bowling. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Marion Frigo at Centacare on 4254 9321. You only need be available once a fortnight, so it does not take a lot of time. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN SOMEONE'S LIFE!!
