Graduate Careers Australia

As its name implies, the Graduate Careers Australia website is a central source of information about graduate careers, graduate outcomes and graduate recruitment in Australia, and is especially useful to students and graduates of Australian universities. Completely revamped in 2005, the site (then known as gradlink) was originally developed in conjunction with the National Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services in 1996, and has the backing of all Australian universities.

The site features:

Gradsonline, which provides data about graduates’ activities, salaries, and jobs for a wide range of fields and courses of study,

Graduate Opportunities, Australia's Official Directory of Graduate Employers, which is a searchable database of graduate programs, vacation work and employer profiles.

A link with SEEK Campus, one of Australia's leading job websites, to ensure that students have access to the widest possible range of job-seeking opportunities, a job mail service and resume creation facility.

Through these and many other features, the Graduate Careers Australia site can help you:

  • search for a graduate position;
  • investigate work in different industries;
  • see what other graduates with your degree are earning, and where they work;
  • compare salaries and graduate employment uptake rates from different industries;
  • contact your university's careers service;
  • write a winning job application and resume;
  • explore your options for further study;
  • find vacation work
  • and a great deal more.
