Two Industry Associations That Offer Graduate Trainee Programs:

• Media Federation of Australia (MFA) - www.mediafederation.org.au
  MFA is offering Media Scholarships for graduates in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane where successful applicants will work to a structured on-the-job program for three months in a Media Agency. Check out the website for more details!
• Advertising Federation of Australia (AFA) - www.afa.org.au
  AFA has a graduate trainee program-the next program running from February to November 2004. Visit the website for details on how to apply.

If you are interested in work experience, some of the big ad agencies do offer internships or cadetships, it’s just a matter of finding out about them. Visit agency websites and keep checking the careers service website as opportunities may arise. To get you started, consider:

• McCann-Erickson offers a discovery program, which runs through the June/July and September holidays. Applications close 15 May for June/July program. Apply online: www.mccann.com.au - this program is NOT offered any more!
